Seymour never trailed Friday night as Cade Holden ran for a 26-yard touchdown in the first quarter and tossed touchdown passes in the second and third quarters to lead the Panthers to a 33-13 victory over previously unbeaten City View.

Seymour (3-0) returns home to play Windthorst (2-1) Friday night. The Panthers’ defense came up with three turnovers in the win.

Holden (14 of 28, 196 yards, two INTs) hit Garrett Siegert (seven catches, 97 yards) for a 16-yard TD in the first half and Nick Slaggle with a 48-yard score in the third. Jayce Hudson had the longest score of the night with a 59-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to make it 33-6.

Luther Bryant and Isaiah Marks had short TD runs for City View, which plays host to Jacksboro on Sept. 21. Jayln Marks caught four passes for 38 yards and Isaiah Marks rushed for 61 yards.
