Mustangs fall to Paradise 21-49

PARADISE — Five interceptions and a fumble. It spelled doom for the City View Mustangs  Friday as they fell 49-21 to the Paradise Panthers.

The Panthers took advantage of City View’s miscues, racing to a 28-7 first-half lead. Paradise had three scores on the board before Spencer Jackson was able to haul in a 17-yard pass from Isaiah Marks.

The Mustangs would have to wait to find the scoreboard again until the fourth quarter when Jayln Marks reeled off an 85-yard run and Kaleb Henry scored on a 19-yard pass from Isaiah Marks.

Paradise’s Jacob Robinson rushed for 257 yards and two touchdowns.
